The proboscis, which is made from mutated bone, muscle, and spinal tissue is the delivery mechanism for the pure Necromorph tissue used to infect new hosts. The jaw collapses within the body and the rest of the head breaks and twists into its proboscis and feelers with the spine providing support and attachment points for articulation (movement). Overall I give it a 3.5 out of 5.Formed from a human torso and legs, its wings are formed by a flap of skin from the chest and then fused between the former host's bent and broken legs. For the price I would have liked to have seen more in the figure, perhaps a smaller secondary figure such as a crawler or such. The paint job seems kind of harsh but overall it is a good try and you do see details that you don't see in the game such as the back of the creatures. The figure also features an interesting and mildly amusing ability for you to remove the limbs from the figure to replicate dismembering it like in the game. Articulation is really good for a NECA figure and shows that they've decided to stop making statue-like figures. Detail is pretty good for a figure this scale but it could have been way better. The figure features a version of a slasher that is missing its lower jaw. The figure seems slightly small as the ones in the game tend to be taller than Isaac with longer limbs. This one represents the basic version with the long blades coming out of its wrists and the extra arms coming from its stomach. Dead Space 2 (Neca)One of the most common enemies in the Dead Space game series is the Slasher type Necromorph and its variants.
